Economic Permanent Residence Programs

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) manages several economic immigration programs that support the development of a strong Canadian economy and ensure that the benefits of immigration are shared across all regions. Economic immigration represents the largest share (almost 60%) of annual permanent residence admissions and the volume is growing, as the overall admission levels grow.

Stage 2: Receive an invitation to Apply for Permanent Residence (also called the ITA). The ITA will disclose which category the client has been invited to apply to.
