Express Entry is not an immigration program, but rather a delivery points-based-system (called Comprehensive Ranking System or CRS) where you are able to apply and be invited for different programs. How does it work?
This is a 2-stage electronic process, for candidates interested to apply for Permanent Residence.

Stage 1: Candidates are required to create their online profile. If the profile is strong (qualified and competitive), the candidate is selected to continue with the Permanent Residence application.
Stage 2: Receive an invitation to Apply for Permanent Residence (also called the ITA). The ITA will disclose which category the client has been invited to apply to.
